Not all motorcycles are made equal, and there are many different types at our motorcycle show in New Orleans.
Our motorcycle show is unlike any other show in New Orleans. One of the biggest reasons for this is that our entry is open to everyone. That means that our motorcycle show is incredibly diverse, and you’ll get to see a wide variety of bikes. In our last blog, we went over a few of the motorcycle types that you’ll see at our motorcycle show. Here are a few more:
Touring bikes are specifically designed for long distance trips. They have larger engines, and they typically come with added features, like screens that offer wind and weather protection. They also have larger fuel tanks and allow the rider to sit in a relaxed, upright position. These bikes can get very heavy, so they aren’t great options for beginners.
A sport touring bike offers the best of touring bikes and sport bikes. These bikes are lighter than most touring bikes, but they have a larger luggage capacity. Like sport bikes, sport touring bikes are easier to handle than your typical touring bike.
Dual-sport bikes are street legal, but they can also be used in off-road situations. These bikes look a lot like dirt bikes, but they have added mirrors, lights, signals and other instruments that allow them to be used on public roads.
Come experience these bike types and many more at the Moteaux Show in New Orleans, and don’t forget to enter your bike into our competition!
